Basic concepts

Here are just a few of the foundational concepts of the Storyteller. These are some of the subjects talked about the most, but any class you choose is full of life-changing concepts. Bear in mind, this website is a work-in-progress, and we’ll be posting more soon.

The guidelines for life

The Guidelines

These ancient spiritual guidelines promote peace and harmony by discouraging harm, excess, control, and selfishness. Disturbance of self or others—through actions like violence, greed, or gossip—leads to inner and societal chaos. Living in alignment with these principles brings balance, while ignoring them fosters disruption at both personal and group levels.

The Emotional Energies

You may have heard of chakras or energy fields or Chi or any number of names for a very ancient concept of the life force that surrounds us. In the world of The Story Teller these energies are thought of as emotional energies or primal energies. If you have ever felt the anger or the joy of someone around you, you have felt emotional energy.

The Contemplation

This is the backbone of the teachings. It's similar to meditation, but instead of an emptying of the mind, it is more like a filling, or structuring of the way you think.

The Transition

The Storyteller explains that humanity is experiencing a great transition — a collective coming-of-age. It’s a time when we’re learning to act from love instead of fear, to cooperate instead of control. Like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly, this transformation invites us to let go of survival-based thinking and live with joy, discernment, and trust in life’s unfolding.

Who is the Storyteller?

If you are new here, the Storyteller has been a great teacher to humanity countless times throughout the millennia. The Storyteller describes itself as the primal energy of love, which resonates in the body as the heart chakra. There are over 1000 teachings to help you live a more fulfilling life.

Remote Viewing

Remote viewing is one of the foundational teachings of the Storyteller. An analogy would be like falling into the pages of the book, that point where the words disappear, and you are immersed in the movie of your mind. Remote viewing can also be a type of out-of-body experience or astral travel. But it may be more helpful to the average person to think of it as just learning how to use your imagination.

The Circle of Focus

Here is a tool that the Storyteller gave us, which is a group mediation designed to bring about change in ourselves and our world. It's similar to a mastermind where a small group of people who share the same values come together to achieve a similar goal.

Excerpts

Here are some short excerpts. The classes don’t follow any particular order, so pick the one that intrigues you the most.

Foundation

In this foundational teaching, the Storyteller—speaking as Yahweh—describes the origins of creation as the unfolding of the “Isness” into eight primal energies that shape all existence. From Chaos, the fertile field of potential, to Love, the glue that binds and defines, each energy contributes to the cosmic balance that forms stars, matter, and human consciousness. The lesson invites reflection on humanity’s role within these forces and how balance creates harmony between the physical and the divine.

Is the idea of physical immortality fact or fiction?

In this dialogue, the Storyteller reveals that while the body can spark a regenerative “forever hormone,” emotional attachment and fear inevitably restart aging. True vitality, they suggest, comes not from escaping life but embracing it—living from joy rather than survival. By choosing action over reaction, cherishing oneself, and allowing discovery instead of control, one slows time itself, learning that immortality lies in how fully one lives, not how long.

Current Events Retreat

As the world feels increasingly chaotic, many grasp for control by predicting the future. But what if you're already prepared? This retreat explores how to stay centered amidst societal unraveling, distraction, and survival anxiety—and how to view current events not with fear, but as curious, even entertaining signals of change. What if nothing is quite as it seems?

Physical Pleasure and Emotional Joy

This discourse explores the relationship between joy and pleasure, revealing them as the twin forces guiding human decisions and creativity. Joy is the soul’s recognition of creation, while pleasure belongs to the body and affirms survival. Through participation—physical or emotional—both align, transforming complexity and distraction into harmony between body and soul.

Fear, Form and Freedom

Discover how fear limits freedom and how wonderment, participation, and acceptance of change unlock true liberation and joy in this timeless teaching.

Attitudes

Explores how your energy and emotions—expressed through attitude—shape interactions more than words. Rather than reacting to others’ behavior, we can choose to respond with awareness, seeing attitudes as coping mechanisms, not personal threats. True participation arises from relevance and intention, not defensiveness. Attitude, then, becomes a tool for purposeful living.

Ethics & Morals

Explore the difference between morals and ethics—and how society shapes what you believe is right. Are your values truly yours, or were they assigned to you?

The beginning of all things

This is the Storyteller's creation story that reimagines the universe's origin as a joyful unfolding of the "Isness" into eight primal energies—Chaos, Allowance, Allegiance, Will, Love, Harmony, Knowledge, and Wisdom. These energies shape all existence, including the human experience.

Physical Pleasure/Emotional Joy

We often confuse physical pleasure with emotional joy. But true joy arises not from carnal sensations, but from purposeful participation and perception.

New Beginnings

Reflect on how societal habits tie us to the past, while true growth requires embracing uncertainty and participation. As the world shifts—economically, energetically, and collectively—value is moving from money to meaningful contribution. Lasting change begins when we release rigid expectations and open ourselves to a more connected and creative future.

Paradise Found

This teaching reframes paradise not as perfection, but as fleeting moments of peace, surprise, and choice. True paradise lies not in absolutes but in the freedom to explore life’s full spectrum—beyond black and white, into Technicolor. It invites us to let go of rigid right/wrong thinking and embrace uncertainty as the fertile ground where joy and possibility thrive.

How the Mind Works

This teaching explains the mind as a pattern of past-based, chemically-driven responses layered over the brain’s physical functions. Our thoughts are rarely about the present moment—they’re shaped by memory, biology, and emotional chemistry. Understanding this interplay reveals how nutrition, fear, and environment affect mental clarity and offers insight into true awareness.
