Basic concepts

Here are just a few of the foundational concepts of the Storyteller. These are some of the subjects talked about the most, but any class you choose is full of life-changing concepts. Bear in mind, this website is a work-in-progress, and we’ll be posting more soon.

The guidelines for life

The Guidelines

These ancient spiritual guidelines promote peace and harmony by discouraging harm, excess, control, and selfishness. Disturbance of self or others—through actions like violence, greed, or gossip—leads to inner and societal chaos. Living in alignment with these principles brings balance, while ignoring them fosters disruption at both personal and group levels.

The Emotional Energies

You may have heard of chakras or energy fields or Chi or any number of names for a very ancient concept of the life force that surrounds us. In the world of The Story Teller these energies are thought of as emotional energies or primal energies. If you have ever felt the anger or the joy of someone around you, you have felt emotional energy.

The Contemplation

This is the backbone of the teachings. It's similar to meditation, but instead of an emptying of the mind, it is more like a filling, or structuring of the way you think.

The Transition

The Storyteller explains that humanity is experiencing a great transition — a collective coming-of-age. It’s a time when we’re learning to act from love instead of fear, to cooperate instead of control. Like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly, this transformation invites us to let go of survival-based thinking and live with joy, discernment, and trust in life’s unfolding.

Who is the Storyteller?

If you are new here, the Storyteller has been a great teacher to humanity countless times throughout the millennia. The Storyteller describes itself as the primal energy of love, which resonates in the body as the heart chakra. There are over 1000 teachings to help you live a more fulfilling life.

Remote Viewing

Remote viewing is one of the foundational teachings of the Storyteller. An analogy would be like falling into the pages of the book, that point where the words disappear, and you are immersed in the movie of your mind. Remote viewing can also be a type of out-of-body experience or astral travel. But it may be more helpful to the average person to think of it as just learning how to use your imagination.

The Circle of Focus

Here is a tool that the Storyteller gave us, which is a group mediation designed to bring about change in ourselves and our world. It's similar to a mastermind where a small group of people who share the same values come together to achieve a similar goal.

Excerpts

Here are some short excerpts. The classes don’t follow any particular order, so pick the one that intrigues you the most.

Your True Nature

Your true nature is a union of soul and body—spiritual and animal, conscious and unconscious. You are far more expansive than you appear, radiating emotion and energy that shape your reality. Beneath memory, instinct, and reason lies your purpose: to create and to connect. Understanding this unity opens the door to living with greater clarity, balance, and presence.

Devas and Nature Spirits

This exploration reveals that devas, nature spirits, and spirit guides are not separate beings but energetic expressions within the fabric of creation. We exist among them, and even act as devas between our souls and bodies. Through awareness, cooperation, and conscience, we can better understand our role in this interconnected, living universe.

Nature of the Soul

This story uses parable to explain the soul as a creator beyond human concepts like pain, time, or emotion. Just as a child builds sandcastles unaware of how the grains affect its skin, the soul creates experiences without perceiving the physical or emotional consequences we feel.

Children in the Forest

Children in the Forest is a metaphor for self-esteem and perception. Two children each believe they’ve found the most beautiful part of the forest—one sees a glittering rock, the other a winding brook. Each believes their discovery is the best, unwilling to accept the other's perspective. The story illustrates about self-esteem, the nature of truth, and more.

The Camel Trader

This is a parable about personal responsibility, transformation, and balance. A once-wealthy but reckless camel trader loses everything, including his last sickly camel. A wise rug merchant offers him a second chance—on the condition that he follows a strict rule

Choices

Your life revolves around 3 choices: choose deliberately, let others choose, or choose from fear. True joy comes from conscious participation.

Caring For and Maintaining the Body

Your body is a wondrous vessel uniting soul and physical form, designed to experience life fully. Each muscle and cell thrives when awakened and used with intention. Neglect leads to weakness and disconnection. Caring for your body through mindful movement, hydration, and awareness honors this vital platform for your soul’s journey and survival.

Emotions

This teaching explores how early life shapes emotion, identity, and joy. It urges us to break free from fear, reclaim agency, and live authentically.
