The human radio
Channeling is the process of receiving information, energy, or inspiration from a source outside our immediate conscious mind. The source of information can originate from your higher mind, a universal intelligence, spiritual beings, and more.
If you are unfamiliar with channeling, the concept sounds strange. But there are many historical examples, like the Oracle at Delphi. And Socrates, who referred to his muse as a daimonion, a divine inner voice that acted as a guide throughout his life.
We all have this innate ability. Think of those sudden flashes of insight, a gut feeling, intuition or a creative idea that feels like it dropped into your lap from thin air. While most may dismiss these as simple hunches, they are actually a similar skill to channeling.
Channeling is like being a human radio that can tune into signals that our scientific equipment can’t yet detect.
- The Broadcast: There are countless frequencies in the air at any given time.
- The Dial: Your state of mind and intention act as the tuning knob. When you quiet the static of daily stress and mental chatter, you can lock onto a specific frequency.
- The Speaker: You are the vessel that translates those invisible waves into words, art, or actions.
In Chuck’s case, he made an agreement with the Storyteller, the primal energy of Love, to channel the teachings to humanity. To continue our analogy, Chuck was a talented radio with a very clear broadcast. If you listen to some of the earlier teachings, you will notice that Chuck’s skill improved with time.
You could say the Storyteller actually teaches us how to channel our higher selves. He teaches how to quiet the noise of the outside world and our mind chatter, so that wisdom can shine through.
