If you are new here, The Storyteller was channeled by a man named Chuck for 40 years. And he collected over 1000 teachings to help you live a more fulfilling life. The Storyteller has been a great teacher to humanity countless times throughout the millennia. The Storyteller describes itself as the primal energy of love, which resonates in the body as the heart chakra. It teaches us discernment: who we are, why we respond to life as we do, and how we can do it differently if we choose. And it does this by bridging spiritual concepts with practical lessons about daily living and self-improvement, helping us look beneath the surface of events to reveal the underlying truths about human behavior and consciousness.
The Storyteller describes the primal energy of love as a glue that holds all things together, but keeps them separate so that they may know themselves. It’s a type of discernment. In terms of love or romantic love, you can think of it as the qualities or energy that may attract or repel you to someone else. It’s one of eight primal energies that correspond to the body’s chakras, plus chaos, which is akin to an artist’s blank canvas.

Why the name “The Storyteller”?
The Storyteller says it has no name, often referring to itself as “That which I am.” It said names are unimportant and drew the analogy of itself to a rock. “If the rock has something to speak, take what it speaks, but leave the rock.” That being said, it suggested we could call it the Storyteller, which is apropos because the teachings are filled with stories and parables. However, the students gave it another name, which Chuck explains below.
Speaking of stories, the analogy of the rock embodies the idea that the Storyteller is teaching us how to teach ourselves. If we have the ears to listen, we can find answers not only with the Storyteller, but within ourselves and in the world. It is also a subtle reminder to cast our idols aside because, in the end, we are all equal co-creators in the universe.
Why is the Storyteller here now?
The Storyteller says that it is here because humanity has asked for a little help during this time of transition. The transition means different things to different people. One way to think of it is that humanity is going through some growing pains; it’s the coming-of-age story of our global society. We are all feeling the anxiety about where we stand in this new world. And that’s why the Storyteller is here — he helps us discern who we are and gives us the tools to be who we want to be. More about the transition.
Chuck’s explanation of the Storyteller
The following is paraphrased slightly:
It’s a little tough to explain, but there’s eight energies that make everything be what it is. [Chaos, Allowance, Allegiance, Will and Power, Love, Harmony, Knowledge and Wisdom.] And those eight energies combine in different ways, at different levels, to make everything be what it is. And he — I use “he” only because I am a “he” — he’s the energy of love, which is not love as we know it. It’s a discernment quality, so everything may know itself.
Back when we were trying to figure out what to call this thing, he came up with a whole list of things that he’s been called in the past. And since “George” didn’t seem to fit, we settled on another, and that’s Yahweh [the Storyteller]. So it’s not religious. Don’t get that confused. It’s a name, and that’s all it is.
As much as possible, treat it like your best friend and ignore the strangeness, because it is strange.

By the way, this is one of the first recordings ever made, so you may notice it is quite different. The Storyteller had not gotten used to using Chuck’s body yet.
